The development and industrialisation centre located in the unit of Genas (69) has the role of integrating the designs of products and functions, the development of equipment and the industrialization of the process until starting of production.
NIEF PLASTIC has always believed in innovation.
A multi-field team studies and develops new processes or products with the support of calculation means and a lab for mechanical and physico-chemical tests.
NIEF PLASTIC is also working in collaboration with other companies (customers and suppliers) and regional labs : INSA in Lyon, University of Savoy.
Some subjects become projects.
Among present research and development subjects, you can find :
* conductive polymers : 3D MID
* water aided injection
* decoration in thermoplastic and thermoset tools
